I order this Storage shed to store items for the winter. Everything worked out almost prefect, just had small issue with the one of the side panels not wanting to snap together, but after awhile with a lot of pushing and prying I was able to complete it. Rubbermaid Horizontal Sheds are a good outdoor storage solution. The shed is very easy to assemble, can be assembled by one person, and can be completed in less than 15 minutes, generally by many people, though some may find having an extra set of hands helpful.

The key is understanding the locking tab system that Rubbermaid has developed. The first thing I do is flatten the box top, to give a smooth working area, that protects the pieces. Then I assemble the left and right shed halves. These simply have a vertical sliding joint. The pieces may move a little when aligning, but you will get it done.

Another set of hands can help as they hold the bottom in while aligning and sliding together. Next, place the floor in position. Take the sides assembly and align and slide lock into the sides of the floor FIRST. Do NOT attach the back first.

This will be a mistake. Once the sides are locked into the floor, you can either push the back onto the locking tabs, or you can rotate the assembly forward and then the back is easily attached to the floor.

You can use your hands or a rubber mallet. Once they lock into the tabs on the back the sub-assembly is solid, and you can put it back on the ground if you rotated it. Place the top side of the doors in first, and then work the bottom side of the doors at an angle towards placing the pivot point into the hole. Do this for both sides.

Then the roof goes on. The metal bar will need to be temporarily removed, and the small bend goes inside the side, then the big bend gets reinserted to the roof tabs. When you lift the roof, the support bar will automatically find the stay and the roof will rest. Just life the roof up a little and move forward and the lid will close.

When the roof closes down over the top tab which you can lock, the two doors are integrated together, and they are secure. What is key is a level surface for the floor.

If the shed floor is not level, it will cause the assembly to twist a little and the doors and roof may not align, the doors sit in the closed position detentes, and the lines may not be parallel at joints. If this happens, find the issue and level out the shed and all will be good. There is a provision for a shelf in the shed. The instructions give you dimensions on how to cut the shelves from wood yourself.

U-Line offers shelves for this horizontal shed made from 3/4 Birch Plywood. Home Depot doesn't offer these. I bought four of these sheds from Home Depot, and got the shelves which do make a difference inside the sheds, and are a nice feature. Tall items will not permit you to use the shed, so place accordingly. I found all the pieces lined up nicely and the assembly went as planned.

They keep the rain out, and do not leak. They have experienced heavy rains and even remnants of a tropical storm. The sheds do hold a lot of material. They are not wide enough to keep some of what I wanted in them, but that's okay. All colors matched, and all four are alike. We shall see how they hold up to the Texas sun.

They see a mixture of shade and sun during the day. I'm happy and pleased with them. I rate them 5s out of 5.

Take your time with assembly. Understand the locking tab system, and you can assemble the sheds in no time. They will not fit in a car. Tight fit for a SUV, depending on the make and model. A small trailer is best to transport these.

We had to shave them off with a box knife and then it went together pretty easily. It took us a while to figure this out... I wouldn't let this stop you from purchasing this product. Was just as good as we expected..

We did have to whittle down a bit of the residual molded plastic to make the large side panels fit closely together, but the other pieces came together fine with a bit of help from a rubber mallet and determination.
