Roof Patch OEM Suncast Storage Shed Building and boxes vertical or horizontal
Got a hole or tear in your storage shed? Repair it easily with the original Suncast Resin patch. These patches are original Suncast UV resistant plastic resin sheet. The same material your storage shed is made out of.
5 1/2 x 9 1/2 inches. All patches are supplied slightly bigger to allow you room to trim.Patch may be cut with hacksaw, snips, or any tool you would normally use to cut thicker plastics. Custom sizes are available by request. To determine the patch size you need, measure your hole length and width. The patch must cover the hole plus 1 inch every direction from the hole edge.
In the example shown in the pictures, we have a 6 1/2 in x 3 1/2 in hole. We used the 5 1/2 in x 9 1/2 inch patch size inside and out. Determining which patch you need. When repairing a small roof hole 1 inch or less, you will only need one patch on the roof top.
When repairing a 1 inch up to 3 inch roof hole, you should put one flat patch on the underside first then Then you will use a flat patch on the roof top. So it will take 2 patches to repair these size holes. Basically you're making a sandwich of the hole. When repairing a hole larger than 3 inches you need a structural patch on the underside first. A structural patch has one or more random stiffeners across the backside (roof underside) providing for extra support. Summation of repair patch requirements. Up to 1 inch hole needs 1 flat patch. 1 inch to 3 inch hole needs 2 flat patches. Larger than 3 in hole needs one flat plus one structural patch. When repairs are complete, you can paint to match the rest of your building. We only sell the patches and you can apply them any way you see fit.
