I chose to build my shed on top of a wooden platform. I constructed an 8 x 20 deck to hold the shed. My wife and I with the occasional help of one of our kids put this together over the course of three days. Probably spent a total of around 20 hours from start to finish.

Before we started assembly we inventoried all parts. I recommend you do that as well. Started opening the cartons to discover a defective wall panel.

Zachary and another sales rep spoke to us and we received the replacement panel in less than 4 days. While waiting have been assembling what I can and have been following the manual by the letter. Great instructions and easy to navigate as long as you take it step by step. I feel we are getting a quality shed from a reputable company who stands by their products with a great support/sales rep team. It looks just as described and is very functional. However, it did take quite some time for my husband and son-in-law to put it together. The instructions could be a lot better. But once up, we love it. This shed is a little time consuming to put together.

I would recommend 3 people putting it together. It really fits our storage needs.

This shed is perfect for what I needed and thankful that is lifetime guarantee! It was fairly easy installing. I had my wife most of the time helping me. Directions need to be upgraded. The trusses were a challenge and the directions could be a little more fluid.

Some parts were not marked as described. All parts were there and it seems very solid. Make sure you give it a good foundation.

My family and I assembled this in approx two days. Still have few screws that need to be placed in peak skylight that gets attached last. Some of the holes didn't line up real well and will need some pressure from the outside to attach them. Has rained a couple days and leaked a little around the rectangular skylights but will just tighten screws around the outside and that should take care of it.

I'm a little OCD so i read instructions but also watched videos online to help trouble shoot any problems. The material that this was made withus really durable as we had an incident between the first and second day when we didn't have the roof trusses installed (it was dark but the time we could attach so we waited until next day), and the wind picked up and blew the corner wall between the doors over, but when I went out at 4AM to see what happened, the floor and wall was still attached but the floor had pulled up and bent completely over and I just pushed the wall back up and the floor went back to original position with no damage. I was happily surprised and greatly relieved! I would recommend this shed for that reason alone! I bought this a month ago.

It took a week to set it up. I modified it to fit where I wanted it to go. Other wise a great product. We bought this shed 2 years ago.

We had a problem with a skylight. The representative listened to our concerns and sent a new part with no hassle. This is a very durable shed! We live in a windy area and have had many storms with high winds and the shed withstood the storms every time!

Pool furniture and toys, summer lawn care machines, tools, etc. It all fits with enough room to walk around to access everything! I bought the Lifetime 20x8 shed nearly a year ago.. This product a wonderful addition to my backyard not only in appearance but in funtionability. I had this shed professionally installed by recommended factory installers and they did a wonderful job on this installation. I highly recommend using installers that know what there doing.

Put this shed together this Spring in my backyard and I used pavers instead of a concrete slab or wood for its base. Looks great and seems very sturdy considering its made out of vinyl plastic.

I anchored it down with 2x4s in each corner and a little cement. I put it together myself except I did need help getting the 20ft long skylight up to the top of the shed (one of the very last steps). I did not have any missing parts as others have said they had in some of the reviews. So far the shed has survived some fairly heavy winds and light hail without a scratch, hopefully it can do well through a North Dakota Winter. I have confidence that it will but I might have to knock down some snow accumulation on the roof.

We are now able to put our three 4- wheelers in side along with things like our weed-eater, leaf blower and many other things we can hang on the walls. 20' x 8' storage shed. We are still in the process of putting this shed together and so far I think it will be great.

A nice looking building to relieve our overflowing house. Now we'll have room to walk. Very nice for the price, nice quality. My husband and I are 60, we managed to put this together in two full days. I recommend having a rubber mallet as suggested, and READ ahead on each step before completing previous step, you will be happy you did. One HUGE mistake we made was putting the doors on willy nilly, be SURE to line up slots for the cotter key, it is extremely hard to lift all the up and off if you misguide the metal tubing. We almost crashed and burned here. Also make sure to pull off the tint of blue on the sky lights before installing, big oops for us... We had to call the company about the front angle piece, not understanding if we had to force a tube through and wanted to be sure before breaking something. All in all I'd do it again, I believe you can teach and old dog new tricks ; I would definitely recommend this to a friend, plus I'd help build it. It was kinda fun actually.

I bought the Lifetime 20' x 8' American made shed, applied for a permit here in South Daytona to put it up. The city denied my permit due to it not meeting a Florida Building Code for structures to meet a 130 mph design for this area. My friend bought one, too, and was planning on putting it up in his new house in Port Orange.

Not sure what I can do now. I had some parts missing. You got right on it and sent them asap. We are almost finished with the construction of our shed. Maybe you should offer a bucket of patience with the kit because we almost used up all of ours! It would have been helpful if all of the pieces and parts were properly labeled rather than having to guess when checking the parts against the inventory sheets. Overall it has'gone together' quite well and I can't wait to move my potting bench and yard implements into their new home. Lifetime Sheds are the BEST!! I read other reviews and decided I didn't want to spend a day are so assembling the shed. It took the guy I hired a full day. The shed is very sturdy. Perfect for what I need it for storing the zero turn mower and other yard tools and ladders freeing up my garage for the cars only. It's well made , looks great and you can't beat the price.
